The City University of New York is committed to providing its students with opportunities to pursue a wide variety of international education experiences, which today are a fundamental element of modern liberal education. Through the study abroad offices of its constituent colleges, CUNY offers students a wide range of short-term and semester programs that provide participants with significant cultural as well as academic experience that can be meaningfully integrated into their overall academic career at CUNY, and that will better prepare students for their later professional lives.

The CUNY Office of International Education administers the CUNY-wide Study/Travel Opportunities for CUNY Students (STOCS) grants program and serves as a resource for the faculty and staff of CUNY’s constituent colleges.
