CUNY has a long standing history of sponsoring and conducting activities in support of national and international communities affected by natural disasters.

The University is committed to addressing disaster relief situations by raising awareness, implementing service projects and raising funds to assist people affected by natural disasters.

There are Campus Relief Coordinators at each CUNY College, who work with student, local community and world-wide relief organizations in the areas of emergency preparedness and assistance.
