2009 Honorees to Be Announced
The City University of New York will announce the 2009 winners of the Murray Kempton Awards for Journalism on Monday, November 12, at the start of CUNY Month.
Named for the famed columnist who captured the soul of the city while often serving as its conscience, these awards honor the contributions of outstanding undergraduate student journalists. Student award winners are recipients of scholarship awards underwritten by The Economist Group.
