John Jay Alumna Beatrice Wilkinson Welters, MA ’78, is the fourth member of the John Jay College community poised to join the Obama Administration. President Barack Obama announced that he intends to nominate Ms. Welters as Ambassador to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The nomination of Ms. Welters requires confirmation by the United States Senate.
