Everything you need to know to recruit at The Big Apple Job Fair

Time: 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM: Breakfast Reception for Recruiters
11:00 AM - 4:30 PM: Job Fair (No entry after 4:00 PM)

Day's Schedule

8:30 AM — 9:15 AM RECRUITER CHECK-IN AT REGISTRATION COUNTERS IN THE CRYSTAL PALACE, SOUTH

One person from each organization will be asked to sign for receipt of the organization's manila registration envelope, containing name badges and breakfast and lunch passes. Name badges will be preprinted for recruiters whose names have been provided by March 13th. All other recruiters will receive blank name badges. Breakfast and lunch passes will be provided based on the number arranged for by the organization prior to the fair. Changes will not be accepted after March 13th. If an organization has not provided a count, two passes each for breakfast and lunch will be in its registration envelope and no adjustments will be possible on the day of the fair.

From registration through the end of the fair, Employer Liaisons will be available to recruiters for various forms of assistance, including booth escort at registration, water delivery at booths and reminders regarding the timing of lunch and hospitality. Recruiters should address any concerns/needs to the Employer Liaisons.

Recruiters who arrive after the breakfast reception should first report to the registration counters.

9:30 AM BREAKFAST RECEPTION - HOSPITALITY AREA, RIVER PAVILION Recruiters are asked to be prompt for the reception, after checking in and organizing their booths.

10:45 AM BREAKFAST RECEPTION ENDS.

11:00 AM THE FAIR OPENS - REPRESENTATIVES NEED TO BE BACK AT THEIR BOOTHS.

12:30 PM— 2:30 PM BUFFET LUNCH IN THE HOSPITALITY AREA.

3:30 PM — 4:30 PM REFRESHMENTS IN THE HOSPITALITY AREA.

4:30 PM FAIR CLOSES.

Recruiters are asked to complete evaluation forms distributed at the fair and return them to Employer Liaisons before leaving. Recruiters will follow through on the arrangements employers made concerning the return of materials/displays to the organization since materials can not be stored at the Javits Center.
